Yesterday was our last ministry day in Guatemala.  In the late afternoon Pastor Antonio had scheduled us a time to go visit a school for kids from 15-20 years old.  We were excited to get the chance to speak, do the drama, share the gospel, and give testimonies in front of 100 or more students.

Upon arrival, we found we would be performing and speaking outside in a courtyard.  The school had a sound system that was very adequate for our drama music and speaking.  After introducing ourselves using fun facts and making the students guess whom the fact was about, we performed the drama.  Katherine and I shared contrasting testimonies, both showing that life in Christ was the most satisfactory and abundant.

Gary then gave the kids a word about Christ knowing what they are going through because He was once their age.  After that we ended with Ashley sharing the gospel in her usual way with the Iodine-Bleach, and Casey gave an invitation to any that wanted to accept Christ.  All were invited to come talk to us if they made this exciting decision and anyone that wanted prayer as well.

5 of the students accepted Christ that day!!!  One boy came and told us that the drama really spoke to him, and he wanted to give his life back to Christ.  While we were about to leave, Pastor Antonio pulled us down into a basement classroom because they class had asked if we could come pray for them!  My heart was overjoyed and we left knowing that God had changed lives for eternity!

After the school, we rushed to church.  We found that the women, youth, kids, and 2 girls had prepared special songs for us.  At the end of the service Pastor Antonio called all of us up on the stage.  Through tears he told us how grateful he was that God brought us to San Pablo.  He read us some verses in Joshua and then brought out a gift that the church had taken up a special offering for!

All of us were crying, feeling truly blessed that God had given us the chance to be a part of the church and the lives of the people.  The pastor and church prayed for us and the rest of our journey.

Today we got up and had to say goodbye to Pastor Antonio and family.  It was so hard to leave our Guatemalan family behind.  They openned their home to us for almost 3 weeks, cooked us food, fixed broken beds, and shared their lives for us!  Pray that God provide for them to build a permanent church and home near it so they don´t have to travel back and forth everyday!

God is so good!  I can´t wait to see what He does in China!!!
