I STAND IN AWE
I apologize for not posting any blogs on the website since I’ve been in
India.
There has been much persecution here so it has made posting on the internet in Cyber Cafes very difficult and dangerous for the ones experiencing persecution.
Currently I am living in an orphanage south of
Delhi (the capital of
India).
I am sleeping in the same room with all of the girl orphans ranging in age from 5-16.
I am having the most blessed time singing, dancing, reading, praying, and playing with the children.
These children inspire me so much by their love for Jesus and their knowledge of the Bible as well as their desire to learn.
I have become “Sarah Auntie” to about 80 orphans.
I have four teenage girls that are mine to love and mentor.
They are my pride and joy!
The persecution here is coming from the Extreme Hindis.
The founder of this orphanage teaches them about the One True Living God.
Many of these children come from Hindu families which serve about 3,000 different gods.
The orphanage shares the gospel with them and teaches them how to preach and teach.
In many parts of
India it is illegal to change religions from your birth.
The founder had been put in jail for the last 39 days and had beaten, tortured, sleep and food deprived, and death threats to his family.
They finally released him after unsuccessfully trying to kill him.
Thank the LORD!
They told him he must stop teaching the children about Jesus and he said “I will not deny my God to the orphans”.
He was reminded of Paul when he said “For me to live is Christ but to die is gain.”
He is willing to die for the sake of the salvation of the orphans!
Wow….what a testimony!
I had the privilege to meet this great man of God the day after he was released from prison.
I was humbled in his presence and put my self in his situation….and only prayed that I could stand and say the same.
He currently has more charges against him concerning preaching the gospel to the orphanage.
The government is looking for him as I write this and he is on the run and in hiding.
The day I met him, it was the start of his hiding and run.
( I will not post his name or picture for his protection)

I am learning of the many Indian people who have given their lives by being brutally killed so others may know of the One True Living God.
Please pray for
India.
They ask for you not to pray for the persecution to stop but pray that God will be glorified through the persecution!
I am just in awe….
SUPPORT THE ORPHANS
I just have the most awesome life right now!
Every morning I wake up to gorgeous little girls saying, “Sarah Auntie, good morning.”
After that they get many hugs and kisses from me.
Some of these children do not have any parents and some do.
The children that do have parents either can’t afford to take care of them, are a single parent, are lepers in a colony, or are just unwanted.
Most of the children were told they were brought to the orphanage to study the Bible and learn English.
Some have not seen their parents or family since they were brought to the orphanage three years ago.

Every morning the children wake up and go to pray and study the Bible at 6am.
They sing and worship God and then spend time studying the Word.
They are studying the book of Ezekiel right now.
These children are being taught how to share the gospel so they can go out and be mighty warriors of God in
India!
After prayer, they do their chores, eat breakfast, bath once a week (due to lack of water), and then play and study.
In the afternoon they meet again to pray and worship and then in the evening before bed.
They have a schedule so each child has one day when they preach a sermon to the other kids.
They all put me to shame in the preaching area…haha.
The problem is there is not enough money to support all of the children.
The founder of the orphanage has been asked why he takes more orphanages when he doesn’t have enough money.
His answer is “the Bible doesn’t say anything about get the money first and then support the orphans.”
So he trusts that God will supply all their needs!

God is definitely working here at the orphanage but they still have some needs and I am asking for your help.
Adventures In Missions has decided to adopt this particular orphanage.
It costs about $30 a month (I wont say “for the price of a cup of coffee”…haha) to support one child with food, water, clothes, and medicine.
Some days the children have to fast because of lack of food and water.
In the 120 degree heat, they have to ration the amount of water they get a day.
If you feel you would like to help an orphan please go to AIM’s website at
www.adventures.org
and click on India Orphanage.
The other day the World Racers decided to take every orphan outside of the orphanage for an evening at Pizza Hut and for some ice-cream.
I’ve never seen such big smiles.
They were smiling from ear to ear!
This was the 1st time many of them had been outside the orphanage in three years!
I was privileged to be apart of it and see their joy!

Every day I am brought to tears for the children.
I asked for God to give me His heart for the orphans here in
India.
I love these children so much and suddenly I have a really big family!
I know these orphans will always be apart of me.
Please enjoy the pictures of my beautiful children.
