PRESENTING MY NEWEST FAMILY………LIQUACIOUS!
despite my archnemesis; African Internet I am finally able to post this exciting blog! (warning the word exciting may be over used in the following blog due to content)!
Luckily I am currently in route to Swaziland and like all Arican travel it takes a few days, so as we wait here in Jobourg for a bus to Swaziland where we will be doing ministry for the month, I have some exciting news for you all! We had another team switch in which God called on me to be a leader. So I now have humbling and exciting opportunity to serve the members of team liquacious:
Kendra Floyd 21 Tennessee
Rachel McGuire 21 Alabama
Juliette Steele 32 California
Caleb Galloway 22 Florida
Robby Smith 21 Georgia
and me : )
These amazing people will be who I learn beside, love with, cry with, minister too and with, and basically be my family. It is hard to explain to a non racer what our families here look like, how normal it is to talk about poop, or to spoon under a semi truck, hug for hours after not showering for a week, or worship with at 5am because your bus didn’t show, or to pray healing over you because you haven’t stopped voming for a week…basically we have decided the race teaches us how to do family and I couldn’t be more thankful and excited for the people God has given me to learn beside!
