Finally, an update about the ministry I am with this month. I am in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. My team and I are staying at an orphanage called Los Gozosos. http://losgozosos.org
Los Gozosos is an amazing joy filled home for children with special needs. Maureen Casey is the founder and director of Los Gozosos. She is a wonderful woman of the Lord. She loves her Savior Jesus Christ and so do the 10 beautiful children who live here.
I get to spend a lot of my time here with the children; I have fallen in love with them. There are a couple children who have stolen my heart. Candy is a 14 year old girl with down's syndrome. Daniel is a 14 year old boy who has Hemiplegic and Cerebral Palsy. He loves Jesus, SERIOUSLY he loves Jesus. The joy he has in the Lord is contagious. He loves singing and dancing. We spend a lot of our time hanging out with the children. We help out in the school, help clean, do laundry, help get meals prepared and worship our crazy awesome God! Besides loving on the kiddos, we have been able to help out with other projects around Los Gozosos. One thing we got to do was chop down a field using machetes! Yep! It was pretty sweet!
God loves blessing His children; This month He has blessed me with Los Gozosos!
