Over the past few weeks, I felt like I’ve been in shoes of Peter. When God called him to step out on the water, he did… But he began to look at the storm and all his surroundings. Peter began to sink, consumed in everything around him. Then God came and reached down where Peter was at and picked him up. All Peter had to do was keep his eyes on Jesus.

I have been like Peter. I stepped out in faith knowing God has said called me onto the “water” (water being the World Race), but I began to let my eyes look at everything going on around me. I began to sink in the idea of staying home to be with my family and help them. Then all of a sudden I felt God tug at me saying, “No, keep going. I got you.” My eyes locked back with His eyes. I had peace knowing that He is with my family and I am to go.

Now that being said, I know that I am to go, but I am still around $3,400 away from the deadline. I have to have right at $7,500 in my account by the 19th of this month. That’s next week. I am asking all who read this to prayerfully consider donating towards this trip. I know God will come through and take care of all my needs. Thank you for all the support so far! It means the world to me. You are all such a blessing.
