In Gods Hands…

Going on the world race there is always a ton of new things you learn everyday! Tonight was a very divine experience. Jordynn had arranged a get together with Erin Costello who is also on January route 3 with us. It was such a blessing to worship with Erin at our church, Grace Family. The whole night was beautiful! The moon hung low in the sky, bright orange and full. The presence of the lord was with us and we could all feel that we are destined to be exactly where we were though Him. As our orginal plans were to go to Starbucks we decided to grab a bite to eat. We picked Beef o Brady’s and were just shocked how the Lord led us to the exact spot we were supposed to be. As we entered it was loud, there was karokoee and I felt as though I didn’t belong.. Our waitress was this sweet girl I actually knew from middle school, Lexie! As I was showing Erin the Threads of Hope bracelets I use to fund-raise for the world race, I just asked Lexie if she wanted to buy one.  She immediately told the karaokee host and soon there was an announcement on the microphone “Everyone these three girls are going on a year long mission trip, they are selling these bracelets  made from women and children in the Philippines. The proceeds go to the mission trip and back to kids and families in the Phillipines” I had people coming up left and right to give support. It felt so great to have strangers support us! I was literally in shock. It was so unexpected and such an amazing feeling that people want to show support. I  love seeing God work through others and it is always such an unexpected surprise. Jordynn and I made a great new friend tonight and God introduced us through the World Race. I am so honored to go spread the good news to the nations. It has been a very rewarding experience and I haven’t even left the US yet. I feel as though I’ve learned so much in this new journey and I am so grateful for all the positive things the Lord has put in my path.
