Back in October, I reached out to some local news and radio stations as a possible means of fundraising. A reporter for Fox 8, Bob Buckley, responded to my email and expressed sincere interest doing a story about The Race. We were hoping to get together face-to-face before I left to begin this journey in January, but it never worked out. However, because Bob is a man of his word he contacted me a few months later. He had been caught up in holiday sweeps, but still wanted to cover this story. We set up a Skype interview while I was in Quito, Ecuador. It was incredible talking to him- just felt like a conversation between friends. I freely shared my heart and the heart of our Father. I walked away feeling great, but slightly nervous about whether Bob would have to cut out a lot of the "Jesus stuff" to keep it media friendly. Well, this man of honor straight up spread the word of God to all our Fox NC watchers. He included the truth of the gospel!
Thank you SO much Bob! You have done The Kingdom a great service and God is up there smiling!!!! I can't wait to support your son when he goes on his World Race!!!! ;o)
