I'm in Quito, Ecuador. After 40+ hours of travel and seeing 4 countries in one day we arrived. Sleepy, hungry, cold…but excited and ready. The place we're staying for the few days before we hit our ministry locations is GORGEOUS! (be sure to click the "Pics" link in the left menu)

We visted the Equator which was cool. We saw how the water moves clockwise, counterclockwise and then straight down actually on the equator and a few other experiements. It was just really dope to see how detailed God was with the whole creation thing. 1in makes a difference! We also explored downtown Quito/the shopping district yesterday. Such a cool city. I love the architecture, the layout, the hills, the views…however, I didn't come here to be a tourist. I'm very much ready to get to our purpose.

We found out yesterday that we (H.I.S.) will be one of the jungle teams. Wooohooo!!!!! :o/ When we found out there would be some people in the jungle the first thing I said was "Man, I hope we're not one of them." Of course, as I said it I had a feeling we would be. God wants to grow me and this is gonna be a major opportunity for it! So our shower is the river (where we have to be sure not to pee bc there are snakes that swim up your urethra and open up like a barbed umbrella), the nearest internet is 25miles away (so no updates for a month again- sowwy!) and we have to be on guard for snakes (as in boas not garden). AWESOME!

As much as I didn't want the jungle, I'm cool with it. God's got us and this whole month is already prepared with an amazing path for us to walk. So I'mma just be leaning on Him HEAVY! Keep me, our team and the other teams in your prayers as we begin this second leg of our journey.
