When we have free afternoons on the race
we like to have some fun, and we like to spend them in style…

Truth is, it’s challenging to stay clean and ‘in style’ on the World Race, so accept the fact that you will look like a dirty and tired Urban Outfitters/American Apparel model for 11 months straight.
That being said, Rachel and Kelly from P Squad suggest you fully embrace the colorful array of strange clothing you will find on your travels and use our handy fashion tips to put together outfits that will be the envy of your squad.

First we introduce the high energy 80's power pants.

Kelly pairs them with a simple tank and strappy sandals, and assumes the limp position of a wet noodle for the full effect. These pants were a great find at a local market in Dondo, and we haggled the price from 75 mets to 45.
Never underestimate the power of ‘pretending’ to walk away from an offer!

Here’s a simple look we think has ‘LA relaxation’ written all over it.

When we found the smoky mountain pink tee in an African market we knew we had to get it. With leggings reminiscent of an Aztec design and paired with Tevas from the US, this look was under 70 mets! It's funny because no one would think to get a smoky mountain shirt in Africa!

A special thanks goes out to the local Dondo market and our fashion and design coordinator, Joshua.
