That sounds weird. “End of Month 6”
I have 5 more months of this thing. What in the world race?!
As Sarah said in the past blog, it was a slow month. Rainy season in Africa, and not much to do. It was such a good month though. Seriously, Team MOR3 and A-Team Remix lived in community for the month, kinda like the Acts church. We didn’t have much to give up but we prayed, praised, lived together.
Bethsaida Portalin came up with a bag of prayer requests idea, so we wrote down our burdens, put em in a bag, and we each took each others burdens.
Sarah Gaddy came up with a share your heart time, where each person had a day to share what ever God’s speakin to em about. We usually have to give a lot of words of encouragements or preach or teach so these times were awesome and helpful. My day landed on a travel day so i didn’t get to share. Oh well, i was just gonna share on rest. I have gotten a weird, miscontrued(if that words even right) view of rest. Usually it’s like sit on your tail bone, close your eyes, and focus on our breathing.
God says kinda different. All He says is that your work is done, enter into your rest. Jesus, was resting His whole life, technically. He says all throughout scripture that He only does what the Father does, says what He says, and so forth. God’s got work for Him, but it’s God’s work not Jesus’. Same thing with us. That was kinda short, there’s definitely more to it. Dive into it. Hebrews 4 talks a little about it, it refers to the Israelites comin into the promise land. Just read the Gospels and listen to Jesus about it. He says God’s work is this, to believe in the one He has sent. John 6 maybe? Google it.
So here’s a list of how we “worked” while believing in the one He sent.

Now how much “work” does that sound like? haha it’s been an amazing month. It’s been like escaping with your loved one for a month, no cellphone, no computer, no nothing, just you and the one you love. Spending time with my God, the Lover, has grown so much it’s crazy.
