These are the words spoken by the angel, and boy are they powerful words. they infact are some of the most powerful words in the Bible. They don’t take on new meaning when your in the garden tomb. but they definitely seem to hit home more when your standing possibly in front of the tomb where Jesus was buried. now to be fair, there is another place where Jesus is said to have been crucified and buried. something i guess i never really thought of but in John we are told he was in fact buried where he was crucified. and many scholars would say he was buried at the church of the holy sepulchre. however this place is almost a shrine, a huge church built where he was crucified and buried. but they seem to miss the message of the tomb. and that is it is empty. and that as the angel said, he is not here for he is risen. Being at the garden tomb and hearing about the reasons why it could be the place where Jesus was buried, is not the important thing, and they brought that up, the tour guide said, the important thing is Jesus is risen and he isnt here today. so i just want to leave you with some photos of this great place, and i hope it encourages you to rejoice that our savior is risen, and that we need to tell others of this truth. i love you all and thank you for your prayers. stay classy planet earth.

in Him
