Thursday, October 17

Today, we got our teams. I love my team. Dillon, Matthew, Andrea, Michelle, Heather, and Jinnae.  We went out for dinner in Murphy, NC and picked our team name. We decided to base it around Diamonds, because  of something on of our squad coaches told us.  Our team is like a diamond. It will take a lot of time, and a long of hard work, and a lot of constructive feedback, but we can and will be a great team and family. Using that diamond concept, we came up with the name, “Hearts of a Diamond.” We liked it, but it still missing something. So we looked it up in latin and discovered our new name. Cor Adamantis.

Friday night, I told everyone that I was finally at peace with C squad. They are my family. I love my squad, and I know they love me too. They are my brothers and sisters. There isn’t a group I would rather go out to the nations and do God’s will, and spread God’s glory.

Cor Adamantis, I love you all with all my heart. You are my brothers and sisters.

God, you are so good. You bring peace to chaos, you calm anger, you give hope in times of desperation. You are the LORD of lords, king of kings, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. The word is with you, and you are the word.

You are my God, and I will live to serve you. May the world see in me the light and peace you can bring to them.

Plane ride home. Almost 2 hours down, a little more than an hour left to go. I already miss Cor Adamantis and the rest of my squad. I love all of them so so much.  God has opened mind and heart this past week, and have grown so much closer to him.

Holy Spirit you are welcome here.

Flood this place and fill the atmosphere.
