Hola! Mi nombre es Monica Terrazas y sí! Hablo, escribo, leo, escucho y respiro español!
Soy latina, orgullosa limeña, muy peruana con una sazón boliviana.
Ya tendré la oportunidad de contarles como es que una peruana llegó a Word Race! (en un futuro cercano agregaré una descripción fugaz de las pericias que he tenido que pasar.)
Pero primero quiero que conozcan un poco sobre mi.
Mi vida es hermosa: familia linda, iglesia bella, grandes amigos, hermoso trabajo. Me gradué de profesora de primaria a los 21. Tengo 24 y estoy cumpliendo mi sueño de la adolescencia: tener mi salón de clase y mis alumnos cuasi hijos. Los que me conocen saben cuando amo enseñar! Jamás terminaría si comienzo a explicar todas las cosas maravillosas que vivo y aprendo con mis pequeños en el colegio.
También me encantan muchas otras cosas: actuar, clownear en el hospital, bailar festejo, comer postres, hacer pijamadas con mis amigas de la infancia y conocer las iglesias que se encuentran en lo más profundo del Perú con buenos amigos y un par de teatritos para compartir con la comunidad.
La gran pregunta es: ¿Por qué dejo toda esta hermosa situación en la que vivo y la cambio por un año de desafíos, incomodidades, peligros y misterios?
Si me conocen tal vez no sea necesaria la respuesta.
Pero aún así deseo compartirla por aquí. Quiero que conozcan de primera fuente el loquísimo sueño que Dios puso en mi corazón hace un muy buen par de años y como ahora él lo está convirtiendo en realidad.
¡Puede ser que mi historia sea muy parecida a la tuya!

Hi! My name is Monica Terrazas and yes! I speak, listen to, write, read in Spanish!
I am latina, proud to me limeña, super peruvian.
There will be another opportunity to tell you how is it that a peruvian ended up joining the world race!
But first, I’d like you to know a little bit about me.
My life is beautiful: great family, lovely church, amazing friends, great job. I graduated from university at the age of 21. I am a 24-year-old primary teacher and I am living my dream right now: I have my classroom and my students, which I consider my very own babies. The ones that know me well, know how much I love to be a teacher! I would never finish describing the wonderful and funny experiencies I live with my little ones at school.
I also love to to do many other things: acting, being a clown, dancing festejo (peruvian dance), eating desserts, having pijama parties with my old best friends from childhood… and traveling arround Peru, visiting churches an making skits for the communities.
Big question: Why am leaving everything I love and want to spend a hole year being challenged, experiencing difficult situations and facing my fears?
If you know me, you might not need me to give you an answer.
But still, I want to share it with you! I will tell you about the craziest dream God put in my heart lots of years ago (I was almost a kid!!!) and what is he doing right know to make this dream come true.
