Sorry for the long over due blog. I should have been more on my game about doing this.
Well, most of you know by now that i am moving into the next journey that God has for me. God called me into full time mission almost 3 years ago. It wasn’t until just a year ago till i fully understood. I was visiting a friends church one Sunday when i realized that God wanted me to commit to going then rather then later. I felt like God was tell me that i would be going in one year. Crazy stuff right?
I have been thinking that it was going to be Moldova that i was going to in one year. This was because I felt a calling to Moldova and that may be where i will ultimately end up but God has bigger plans for me.
So let me try to explain the craziness that God is doing in my life. Since last year I was pursuing going to Moldova. I tried numerous organization to help me get there. Each one i found the door becoming closed. I was getting discouraged and feeling like maybe i heard God wrong. I am lucky that i had my good friend Rachel Martin to help me get through the hard days. Rachel and I became friends a year ago, around the same time as i received the calling. About May of this year i was at the point giving up on going back to the mission field. While talking with Rachel, she made the comment ” why don’t you just come to Romania.” This is where she is headed. Jokingly I thought to myself that maybe i will go to Romania. Well come to find out this is where God is wanting me to go.
This bring me to where i am now. 2 weeks ago i had a phone meeting just to keep updated. Well the conversation went great but they told me that they were starting to do more training before they send someone onto the mission field. Which is a good thing. This training will take place at a special school that Adventures in Missions does called Center for Global Action or CGA.
I am so excited to move into this next journey of life but I need your help. I need to raise $9500 all together. My first deadline is October 1st and i need to have about $1800 by then. if i can get 36 people to donate $50 then I will reach that deadline.
