Sorry it has taken me a while to get this blog up…

Since my last post I have left Cambodia, stay a night in Vietnam, and my team is now living in Darwin, Australia. It is getting easier to leave in country but at the same time it is still pretty hard. One thing that makes it easier is that I have an awesome team that I love being around so if I stay behind in a country then I wouldn’t get to see them again.

On that note I want to talk about my support. I am currently not at my deadline on April 1st. I would love to stay on the race but if I don’t meet this deadline I will be sent home. God is my provider and I know he will provide but he may be trying to do this through you. So what I am asking is that you would sign up to donate $25 a month starting now and going through November. If I can get 20 people to do this I will meet my deadline.  I know I love everyone back home but I still want to be here, so I don’t want to see yall yet. So please donate. Just click this link to donate.

I want to now give an update on a guy I met in Cambodia. His name is Austin and if you didn’t hear what happened go look at my last blog post. I want to thank everyone for praying for him and to continue to pray because he still has a long way to go. He is doing a lot better. He has come out of the coma and is starting to move and he practices wiggling his fingers and toes everyday but if you want to keep up with his situation check out this blog — http://prayersforaustin.wordpress.com/
Now I am going to talk about Australia. I just want to say that I love it here and that it feels like I’m in the states, except that they have funny words for things and I guess that accent makes it different too. Well my team is staying at the YWAM base here in Darwin. Our main ministry this month is working with a local church called Longgrass Mansion. With this church we minister mainly to the aboriginal people but we also work with some of the other poorer people in the city. We feed these people both spiritually and physically. These people have everything they need. Free housing, free money and even free food, but they choose to throw it all away for drugs and alcohol. We have also had the opportunity to work with a couple of different feed the hungry locations which was a great experience.

The rest of the squad is coming in to Darwin this weekend and I’m sad to say that they are changing up teams. I love my team and I will be sad to lose any of them but with changes brings new experiences. I have had the most amazing time with this team. From family photos on the beach to just hanging out in our rooms, something funny is bound to happen.
