MY STORY:
I am excited to annouce I got accepted for a Worship Leader training out at Bethel in Redding, Ca for this July ( July 11-22nd)
In 2011, I went on a trip called the World Race. It was then that I learned how to play guitar from a 13 year old teen boy in Malaybalay, Philippines. He reminded me of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”. At age 26 I started learning guitar & that is where the story begins! After attending a Bethel concert in Ohio ,last October, I felt this pressing on my heart while I was singing that God was calling me into the heart of worship. I am confident this training will empower me to become a more skilled, and confident worship leader, so that I can provide healing to many teens who are hurting. I want to spark a fire of God’s love through worship. I think this training will help me to do just that. Not only does Bethel train through worship, but also healing through dance, art, photography,prophetic word, speaking life & truth… and so much more. <3
WHY? :
I feel called to start a non-profit for teen girls group home in Detroit, Michigan which will help teens struggling with addictions, and depression. God gave me this vision to use various types of art therapy, community, and a relationship with Him as part of the healing process. I have a huge heart for teen girls from broken families and want to see them experience the freedom that I know. Bethel Worshipu is one of the next steps towards the dream & vision God laid on my heart in 2011. I have worked with teens the last couple of years & see this vision coming to life very soon!
The Heart of Worship:
When you worship,you bring down the presence of heaven. Worship says and does things that words can not when people are hurting or in need of healing. It invites God to move, speak, and come into a more tangible way. My heart is to share Gods presence and bring the heart of the Father into a room.
WHY AM I FUNDRAISING?
$1000 covers the school fees, and the remaining $500 will help provide transportation, housing & food. The money for Bethel is due May 1st ($1000) .
