Moving to Moldova! (SIKE gotcha…)
(Weekend Rivival in Chisinau, Moldova)
6.9.12
Ok, Ok, I AM NOT moving to Moldova, as far as the Lord has revealed to me but the Spirit of GOD sure is.
This weekend our team has been attending a weekend long evangelical revival in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau, and we have been witnessing how the Holy Spirit is at work in this country. It was encouraging to see a tent full of people, many who came to Christ for the first time last night in our midst. God’s Spirit is alive and is sweeping across the Nations. Our contact, Sergie, told us that throughout the weekend a couple thousand people were expected to attend this conference. There is hope for this Nation. This Nation as gone through so many changes and is one of the newest countries as of 1991 it declared itself an independent state, and as of 1994 a new constitution was adopted here as part of a parliamentary republic.

Many people in this nation are caught up in wanting more “westernization”. In fact many people go to Moscow, Russia to work or other places throughout Europe, just to save up some money and come back here to live and support their families. There is not much work internally within the country so this becomes a normal to them. Many people I have found around the world put the United States on such a pedestal. Yes, America is blessed with many things but the one thing I have realized is that many American’s idolize work & making money. This mindset is influencing places all around the world to share the mentality that enough is never enough. My prayer is that our eyes would be opened in the United States to crave God more than anything else. I also pray that people here would see that more is not always the answer.

We did a little dancing together after the revival on the sidewalk!
She is the most adorable thing. (=
It is encouraging to see God’s spirit alive and at work here amongst a culture and country that has had to recover it’s identity again and again. I pray that this nation’s identity would be in Christ and Christ alone! AMEN! Slavă Domnului! (” Glory to the Father” in Romanian)
