In 2012: A Song in My Heart, A Dance in my Feet, A Prayer In My hands & Praise On My Lips….
In 2012 I will choose to….
Sing my song loud (Psalm 100:2),
Dance with joy in My feet (Psalm 149:3),
Pray without ceasing with trusting hands(1 Thessalonians 5:17),
Praise louder then ever before at his gates(Psalm 100:4),
I will cast my cares on the Lord for I know he cares for me(1 Peter 5:7),
I will not have a spirit of timidity but of power, love & self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7)
I will declare over myself that I am More than a conqueror through him who loves me(Romans 8:37),
I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength(Philippians 4:13),
The Lord is My Shepherd so I shall not want but will be satisfied in Him (Psalm 23:1),
Take delight in the Father & then will give me the desires of my heart( Psalm 37:4),
He renews my strength like wings of Eagles( Isaiah 40:31),
He grants me rest when I am weary (Matthew 11:28) & pours his presence out on me when I am weak. His power is made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9)
He has a plan & purpose in my life to prosper it (Jeremiah 29:11),
He calls me daughter & co-heir with Christ & I am already seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:13-14)
My prayers are powerful & effective (James 5:16) ,
Trust in the Father’s words & promises which stand firm (Isaiah 40:8),
I will not lean unto my own understanding but in all my ways acknowledge him & He will make my paths straight (Proverbs 3:5),
I will trust in his thoughts & ways which are higher than all of mine (Isaiah 55:9)
I will declare favor, speak truth & life (Genesis 2:7)
Remembering every strand of my hair is numbered (Luke 12:7) &
I am fearfully & wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) ;
I serve a God who knows all the details & works them out for the good of those who love him who are called according to his purposes (Romans 8:28)
Where the spirit of the Lord lives there is freedom…
I will embrace Freedom in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17).
& I pray the same for you...
2011 was an amazing year because of many reasons. Here are the top 10!
1. I have embraced the single life for a full year.
2. Overcoming fears I didn’t even know I had (Spiders-widow’s, other large insects, flying in airplanes & motorcycles)
3. I survived a waterfall while rafting the Nile River.
4. I got baptized on my birthday! Best gift ever… (=
5.God provided $14,800 for me to be on the World Race before the deadline!
6. New Found Freedoms…
7. Embracing Community Living w/my brothers & sisters in Christ. (+I’ve learned how to have an older brother). I’ve laughed, I’ve Cried & embraced what happens when 46 strangers come together to serve the Lord in places they’ve never been.
8. I get to live in communities in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda), the Philippines & Thailand. (not to mention mastering the squatty)
9. Discovering new truth about who God says I am.
10. Learning to Play Guitar (which I never thought would happen)
& I am sure there are lots of others but that was what I could think of = )
