You Call Me Daughter…
Discovering my identity in the Lord
If we are in Christ Jesus we belong to God. If we belong to God, and if we are led by the Spirit, we are called his Sons and Daughters. (Romans 8:14) and (2 Corinthians 6:8).
It would make sense that our identity is created to reflect God and his infinite wonders…One of our biggest purposes here on Earth is that we were created to glorify God.
If we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
Throughout these past three months in Africa, God has been revealing to me truth about who he has created me to be. Some of the things God says about me I already knew, and some are new things which I am discovering while here. Some are things I already knew to be truth, while others I forgot they were gifts God had given me. It is so easy to get mixed up with who God has created us to be when we get caught up in work, or if other things in this world start to consume our minds. When our burdens consume us, it’s hard to think of ourselves as anything beautiful…When there are clouds covering the sunlight of the truth of who we are, we need to pray, seek God, and ask him who we are. When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus we reflect the image of God as we were created to.
So anyhow… lately I have been like a child on Christmas opening up one gift at a time!After looking at the ribbon and shiny paper with excitement… First, I look at it and see if it really is something for me. I check the tag to see if my name is on it. When I discover my name is on it, I open it really quickly and start seeing what the gift is. How it works & what I can do with it…
Then I remember to thank the person I received the gift from…and I look back and continue to remember who it is from.
When your mind & heart are focused on the Kingdom of God, your desires will reflect those desires of the heart of God.

I have more recently discovered a gift from God that I have…My love for Art & using it for the Kingdom of God… God has been speaking to me about my love for it & how he could use it. I absolutely LOVE photography & I am finally realizing this gift I have. I also love drawing & creating prophetic art. So as my blogs continue I will be sure to put up more blogs with photos,scriptures & artwork which I am creating as God speaks to my heart. I am not sure where this is all going but I know God will reveal to me in time through the desires he has placed in my inmost being. As he speaks my name I will answer…
I hope that through my art many are inspired & lead closer to Christ.
