The Greatest of These is L.O.V.E.

Love of Christ

Overflows in my soul; From my

Very inmost being

Evermore

This four letter word seems so simple, but yet it is complex. This is the word God has been giving me while in Kachibora, Kenya. LOVE, love, love. Megan…Love. This word is all throughout the new testament in many books, and in many ways. If nothing else matters and if we could remember one command that God gave us, it would be to love others as God loves us. In order to fully love others we need to understand and accept the love that God has for us. The love that layed down it’s life. The love that Jesus embraced and endured as he paid the ultimate sacrafice on the cross, and took our place for the sins we should have paid for. We need to understand this intense love that the Lord has for us in order to love others. That is why I am here. That is why God called me to the race. Without understanding this love, I could not do it. Love conquers all, it covers a multitude of sins, and it is the greatest commandment…The God of the universe is in love with you…

I see love In:

-The child who carries her younger sibling on their back.

-The intense labor endured day in and day out to provide.

-The laughter of the children here who have nothing the world can give.

-In the way the children fight over who can hold your hand.

-In the half broken-hearted smiles.

-In the way we are always welcomed into each home we approach.

-In the way we have been served by the hosts here.

-In the way 6 strangers come together in love to bring the Kingdom of God to those around them.

1 Corinthians 13:13

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love”
