Hello everyone!!

We apologize for the radio silence in the recent past. Getting reliable internet in Africa is rough! Now that we have safely arrived in the Philippines (praise!!!) we have been able to find some decent WiFi. Blogs about our time in Africa should follow quickly but what we have today is an update video of all three months in Africa!!! It was a blessed and amazing three months where God did some incredible things! We are very excited to share it with you!

The women spent the first two weeks in Africa in South Africa. They worked with a church in Nelspruit, doing grounds keeping, helping the church prepare for its annual Christmas program, as well as going to surrounding villages to have Christmas parties with the children there! While they were there, the men went to Botswana, in the middle of the Kalahari Desert and helped a church build a roof on the church building. Then the two groups reunited in South Africa for the remaining two weeks!

In Zimbabwe, our team had “Unsung Heroes.” We were responsible for finding and connecting with ministries in Zimbabwe that AIM did not already have a relationship with and see if they could partner with us for future ministry teams to serve. While in Zimbabwe, we met an amazing Christian couple who owned the hostel we were in. They encouraged us in some amazing ways and we partnered with their church in prayer for rain in Zimbabwe. Through the month we were able to submit 13 new ministries for AIM to pursue future partnerships!

Finally in Lesotho, a small mountainous country in the middle of South Africa, we partnered with a church to minister to their local community. We engaged in prison ministry, and through this ministry, a total of 17 men came to know the Lord!! We also led Bible studies in the local high school, led youth group once a week, preached and led worship at church on Sundays, helped with the construction of the church’s orphanage, and led a food kitchen at the local hospital for people suffering from HIV/AIDS. This was an amazing month and we had the opportunity to meet some very kind and loving people.

If you have any questions please let us know and any comments or prayers are always welcome. Also if anyone feels called to contribute to our gofundme for our expenses on the field the link can be found here. Thank you again for all the support and love, we couldn’t do this without you!

Much Love!
