We are a week away from launch!!!!!!
It’s a fact that grows more unbelievable with each passing day. Another amazing thing is, that we are officially halfway funded! We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and generosity on our behalf. This experience has humbled us and shown us so much about how God provides for His children.
However, being halfway funded means that we still have work to do and still have fundraising goals to meet while we are abroad. To meet these goals, we ask that you would pray about partnering with us.
Firstly, we need prayer partners, people who will be willing to do battle for us and with us.
Prayer for our preparation for the race. Prayer for the the people of Sombor, Serbia, our first ministry location. Prayer for the places we will be going. Prayer for our teammates and squad mates. Prayers for safe travel abroad. Prayer for our marriage this year. Prayer that the Holy Spirit will lead and be evident in everything we do. Prayer that we will reach our financial goals in the coming weeks and months.
While we ask everyone who reads this to pray for us, we are also looking for a team of dedicated prayer partners. These prayer partners would be placed on a specific email list so we could connect with those prayer warriors directly for any specific needs while on the field. Next, being halfway funded means that we still have another half to go! We are humbly asking if you would prayerfully consider partnering with us in ministry financially. We cannot stay on the field all eleven months without help. We have tried to make this as easy as possible for those who wish to give.
The first way you can help is by a one time, tax deductible donation on our “Pick a Number” fundraiser.
The way it works is we have numbers 1 through 300 listed out. We are asking 300 people to pick a number and donate that amount. Once a number has been picked, it cannot be chosen again. If all 300 numbers are taken, we will be totally funded for the next year! Every number is needed, be it $5 or $256, everything helps. All donations this way are tax deductible and secure. The second way you can help is buy purchasing a t-shirt, coffee, or tea!
