Well friends, family, North Carolina, and Virginia…it’s been real, but I must be on my way. In the words of Mr. Baggins, (What’s a great start to a journey without a Hobbit reference?) I’M GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!! In 3 days I will be heading to Atlanta and from there I will be boarding a plane for MONTH ONE in INDIA!
Quick update. Fundraising has gone from my LEAST favorite part of this preparation to the BIGGEST BLESSING so far. As of today I am at $14,145. That’s only $2,872 from being FULLY FUNDED. How crazy is that? I have learned so much from receiving all of these WONDERFUL gifts and donations. I am TRULY BLESSED, and will been able to bless others because of it. THANK YOU so much to everyone who has helped and became a part of this process.
So Month One in India and what it will (could, should, might possible) look like. We will be doing VILLAGE MINISTRIES. Due to certain safety issues I will not be posting where in India, but if you have any questions just let me know and I will answer them the best I can. During this month we will be taking place in church PLANTING, relationship BUILDING with the local unreached villages, and poverty RELIEF. This will consist of anything from PRAYING over the villages and people, to BUILDING structures, to PREACHING our own sermons and testimony. This will be an awesome chance for my TEAM and I to jump straight into any FEARS of preaching or public speaking, all of which I do not have much experience in. WE GOT THIS!!
We will be working with TWO other S Squad teams this month, which is such a BLESSING. I have all the confidence in the world of the Lord’s POWER to work through my team alone. I cannot imagine how STRONG the 3 teams together will be!
