Pride whispers to my ego, giving it praise for things that aren’t deserved. I must realize over and over that my purpose here in this life is not ever to bring any form of glory unto myself. My life needs to be an act of worship to my Creator, my Savior and a witness to what I believe. It’s not about what I become for Him, it’s about what He makes of me for His glory. I am nothing but an empty earthen vessel, but I am willing to be filled. I pray that the Spirit of God fills me up to overflow.
