“I’m doing a quick work in you.”

The Lord has stated and reiterated this to me in the past few months.

I still don’t really know what that quick work is.

But maybe it’s not just one thing; perhaps it’s an all-encompassing thing. I can confirm that the last several months here at CGA/in Worship Track have been the most life-giving and freeing ones ever. I don’t just say that ‘it only gets better and the best is yet to come with Jesus’- I mean it because I’ve lived it out. I’m experiencing the fruit of living by the Spirit daily, the hope that cannot be crushed.

He’s limitless. And if He’s dwelling within me, why should I not be limitless, too?

So the ‘quick work’ seems to be a theme I’ve noticed. I’m not discounting long, persistent processes, but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of quick things that give God glory because they can only be done that rapidly by Him.

For one, we as Worship Track recorded an EP of three original songs within 3 days, and with the extraordinary and generous help of Randy Garmon, we now have physical copies of the CD, a free download of a single available on Noistrade, and ‘The Outpour’ EP available on iTunes!! It’s absolutely surreal that we get to partner with the Father in bringing Kingdom through this and still more to come. I never thought I’d get unspoken dreams fulfilled. Yet here I am, writing songs, playing the flute to worship, and losing track of everything but Jesus as I sing and dance and laugh and cry in His presence. Here I am, preparing to break chains, to heal, and to set captives free through worship. Here I am with a family of worshipers having the heart of David, standing on the front lines to defend His Kingdom and bring heaven to earth.

Each day has been so full of growth and challenges through relationships, community life, CGA courses, and discussions… And amidst everything, the secret place with Jesus and His Word is becoming more and more precious to me.

Because here’s what I know:

My life cannot pour out genuine goodness if I do not steadily drink living water.

I will soon become my own enemy if I do not remember my shield of faith that is not meant to deflect flesh and blood.

Crucifying the flesh comes with revelation of His love for me.

I’m made as a part of the body to be wholly united with the rest for maximized glory to God.

My roots can only go deep by abiding in Him and embracing every process, not just the end fruit.

I can only catalyze as much freedom for others as I myself own.

My life is an outpour, a living and active flow of His self-sustained and all-sustaining breath.

On that note, here’s a snippet of the outpour from/for/through Him. Brought to you by Adventures Music. (:
