A few days ago, the Lord spoke to Christopher during morning worship. He placed on Christopher’s heart a 24-hour prayer and worship session as a team for Hogar Miqueas. At least a few of us will be doing a water-only fast during this time as well. I love the idea, and I think it’s going to be powerful! We’ll be starting at around 9pm tonight (11pm EST) as a full team, then going on rotating shifts of at least two people at all times, and finally ending tomorrow with an hour as a team again. (We’ll be doing worship using guitar, djembe, iPod, and a cappella- I’m excited for all of it!)
Yesterday, Christopher also shared during team time what the Lord specifically told him He would do in each of our hearts and in our team. It was an awesome reminder that while we’re doing this to intercede on behalf of this place, we ourselves will inevitably be changed by the experience. I’m pumped for what God has lined up for tonight and tomorrow!! And my team definitely needs prayer: that we receive supernatural energy and strength; that we go into battle against the enemy prepared and never let our weapons down; that our prayers will change the atmosphere of Hogar Miqueas; that the Holy Spirit would drench us and this place for these 24 hours and far beyond that. Please pray for us and for this children’s home!
I expect God to move in some BIG ways!!
