Hello!

WoW is an under statement for what God has done in the time we where in Tibet.
Tibet is rather diferent than the rest of China.
Most of the Tibetans are Yak, sheep  & goat farmers, their clothing is realy cool(warm)made from animal skins.
the ladys dress very modestly with beutifull hats.

Once again God made every thing go smoothly according to His plan.
I met a 14 year old boy on the street who could speak a bit a English, he asked if i could come to his home with him to teach
him more English. I said yes, reluctantly for the rest of my team would not know where i was. We chated and he showed me a book on the area. In it was pictures of the monastry we were looking for, it was to far for us to walk to.
The boys father then came home, he is an officer in the police force and he offered to take us to the monastry the next day.

So after a yummy meal & hard to get down yak butter Tibetan tea with the family i left, the timing was good because as i got into the main street, Chad & Liesl came looking for me.
When we got back to the hotel room Casey said she got a word the we are going to be arrested. well she was relived when we explained we would be riding “taxi” with the police the next day.

The next morning was just awsome. A ride in a police car, a guided tour of the monastary (this one is one of the biggest and is the main one in its area of Tibet) we did plenty of prayer walking and got to give out many Gospel tracts and Tibetan Biblels.

The HIGH LIGHT for me was when Chad & me climbed the hill which over looked the monastry. when we got about half way (aprox 18 000 feet above sea leavel) i couldent breath any more and me legs had pins and needels. I knew we had to go up there.
When i looked up at the hill i was reminded of a sceane from the Passion of the Christ movie when Jesus looked up the hill where he was going to be crucified for us. So i ernestly prayed and asked FATHER to help us get to the top. Then the miracle happened, not only could i continue, but i could sing while walking up.

At the top Chad and i had a time of prophetic intercession and declaration over the area. We also planted a wood cross on which Liesl had written a prophetic declaration(poem) on it.(see Liesl and Chads page to read it)
We had two eagles fly low over us, Chad read out the scripture he got, Ezekiel 17 and we prayed it through.
Going down was great fun, as part of the mountain was covered in snow. I made a snow angel and then skied down about fity meaters, well as best as one can ski in size 9 hiking boots.

On the way back to town we saw a magnificant stag deer that still had his antelers intact.

The next morning we had a pleasent taxi ride back to Yu Shu where we borded a sleeper bus (with seating beds built for Chinese people, so me a bit cramped up right now)for a 18 hour ride to Shining.
well im gonna go (hopefully) take a hot shower now before our long train ride(about 30 hrs) back to Hong Kong tomorrow.

Me heart is bubling over for the things that God is doing in this nation,my prayer is that many more laboures will come for there is mutch to do in this land.

Luv ya lots like jelly tots

LLoyd.
