hello

Picture this: a beach backed with tall shady trees and cocanut palms, a clear water sea with three sailing boats just a swim away and and island just bewomd that. Well thats what i see in the morning wen i get up ,out of me tent. Yip im camping on the beach!
Its the best budget stay (free) i could get but this morning i was realy taking it all in and i realised it way better than stayin in a bungelow, because me can fall asleep and awakes to the songs of the sea and me tent is mosquito proof, and when it rains i get some cool water all over me to to comfort the strains of tropical heat.

Me has been rather bussy the last few days, ive rented a little scooter bike which i use to take me to Patong & Kata beach where ive been doing cartoon drawings (i ask the persone for thier signature and then turn it into a cartoon drawing) for donations.
Its been an amazing few days because ive met so many people from diferent countrys and cultures, i got to say that the majority of the Australians are great sports, Go Ausiezzz. And there are some Germans not to far behind… Dankeshin!

the local people are very hospitable, and even in the touristy areas they are very non self seeking and helpfull.Their culture is very people first focused, some thing the rat race societys that the ‘west’ has created can learn from.

coming home late last night at about 10 pm i was lookin for a place near me tent to stop for a bite to eat, all the regular places were closed so drove on till i saw a place that was open. me parked me bike and entere the place, a large open side tent with about fiteen tabels and chairs underneath.there was a group of about six men having some beer at one end and two or three women miling about and some children watching a hard core karate movie on a TV.
A very pregnant lady came to me and asked if she could help, and i asked her if the kitchen was still open.
It was explained to me that it was her grandmothers funeral (she lived till 88years old) who past on on Sunday and that there was plenty of food and i was more than welkome to stay and have a meal.Funerauls go on for about five days, and it apeared to me that it is about family and friends spending time to gether.
So after a bowl of very hot,um let me refrases that – exteamly hot some thing, and rice (to sooth the heat) with a fried fish & a yummy shrimp dish, me tummy was very full. For desert ther was blocks of cocanut jellys which were very tasty.I ve been invited to to come back for the next two day for lunches and dinners.

I want to say a huge thank you to all who suport me :
THANK YOU!

its now 13h00 so im off to ‘work’, proberly till about 22h30.

Love you all.
