Hello
We’ve left Hong Kong; I can best describe it as the city that doesn¡¯t end.
It is a huge and tall city.

I¡¯m laying down on me little bunk bed on a train in main land China. The towns are huge with many tall apartment blocks, colored by washing hanging out of the windows. Between towns are many paddy fields and other assorted vegetable fields, with the occasional water buffalo strolling around.

I don¡¯t think there are many non Chinese who travel by train because the Chinese people stare at us with quite a surprised look when they see us but the expression soon changes to one of a welcome appreciation. Each compartment has six bunk beds with no door, at first I thought ¡°no way¡± but it has turned out to be better because I get to experience the other people (Chinese, South Africans & the Americans)

Annemarie has just cut her finger rather severely on the fold up chair, she should get stitches, Lana and I bandaged it up tight for her to keep it to gether.

I¡¯m healthy and well but have an urgent need of finances. Before coming on the trip I designed and
drawing of a house for a client. I got paid for the conceptual stage, but they have not paid me for the working drawings yet, the amount due to me is R20, 000.00 ($3300.00) I¡¯m trying to communicate (e-mail) as to why payment has not been made. It is very difficult for me to ask other people to assist me with finances when I know I should be getting it from some one I¡¯ve done work for. I¡®ve got sufficient team money to get to Thailand next month.

I haven¡¯t bloged as much as everyone else because I¡¯m kind a new to the internet thing. And I don¡¯t have any spending money for gifts, phone calls, internet, extra food etc. ¡so I¡¯m going to type on Microsoft word & Chad will transfer it to the blog when he can. (Thanks Chad)

The temperature is getting colder the further we travel into china.
we spent three days in ‘lin-sha’ and had a team race there, we came second over all. the race was realy great fun ,our taxi driver was a great help, here in china you may drive on just about any side of the road, you just got to keep your hand on the hooter.

we now in a town near the yellow river(see photo) feeding the sheep (he he) the sceanery is is breath taking. the lord has blessed us with a frind. He is a local here and has shown us many places and introduced us to other locals.he speaks quite a lot of english and blessed us with lunch. he gona teach us local chinese dancing later to day.( o boy!)
we’ve had many diferent types of local food. today i had some thing that i thought was spaggety & soya but it turned out to be all made of rice, and it had a lot of yummy hot spice. to wash it down we had sweet yack youghurt, this was verry yummy.

Ta ta for now, hope to write again soon.

The Lord bless you.
