I love how constant our God is.

Whether in Nicaragua, the US or Philippines, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Whether healthy or sick, bored or busy, grungy or spick-and-span, our God never fails. He is faithful and true.

There have been some major changes happening in S Squad. Not only are we in a very new continent, we have entirely NEW teams and new team leaders!

This month is “MANistry” month. Meaning all the men go off and be men: throw rocks, lift heavy objects and grunt a lot, while the women cook and do nails… kidding.

BUT this means we now have two all men teams that are being shipped off to the island of Mindanao, while the remaining 6 woman teams are scattered in the surrounding areas of Manila and Mindoro.

Oh travel days, some are more eventful than others, but nothing every goes too smoothly when you are traveling with 57 people. We got up bright and early the morning of the 30th to pile on 2 buses to get us to the airport by 5:15am. I believe this was our most hassle-free travel day thus far, despite the fact that it was LONG.

We had a quick layover in Atlanta, and onto LAX for our long layover where packages were awaiting Racers eager to trade out close, stalk up on American food and Starbucks via packets (shout out to Steven, my coffee addiction thanks you!).

You would have thought it was Christmas. Obliging parents had offered to deliver packages to Racers and were waiting for us, boxes organized by teams, as we got of the plane. Even in America we stick out! There were more home-made cookies than I could possibly eat in one sitting (although I did my best attempt) and somehow everything made it into our already stuffed packs without breaking the weight limit.

From LAX we traveled to Hong Kong for a quick stop then onto Manila arriving at 11am on the 2nd of October. We are now resting and sleeping off the jetlag hangovers before dispersing out to ministry sights.

I am still in the process of raising support! I am fully funded for my first 5 months on the field, but need an additional $3,000 in order to return for debriefs month 7 and month 11.

I need $1,400 by the end of October to fly out to Vietnam for a week at the end of January to debrief with S Squad.

This is an incredible opportunity to be able to see the squad in person, love on them and support them after they have been on the field for several months on their own.

Any donation helps! Do not hesitate to email me for more information or questions you may have.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support! I am so thankful for all you do to keep up with me and love me while I am away!
