Have you ever felt like you are receiving blessing after blessing and you don't know why?

This week has been like that.  Not only have I received emails from people unexpectedly, but I have gotten to skype friends, it has rained, I am almost fully funded, and my parents may be coming to Africa!

Financial.  Anyways, this week started out realizing I have under $1,000 left to raise.  What a stinkin' blessing!  We started out having to raise over $15,000 and throughout the last 8 months, God has allowed me to raise most of that.

Rain.  I prayed for rain.  Hallelujah, it rained for like 2 days straight here.  How is that a blessing?  Well it was like a thousand degrees outside here and you couldn't walk anywhere without being drenched in sweat.  The rain cooled the weather down and that is a stinkin' blessing.  Plus on a selfish side I didn't have to give kids a shower in the afternoon because they weren't sweaty : /

(musicfest last yr)

Skype.  May sound like a silly blessing to some, but my computer hasn't connected to the internet all month.  I have been able to do stuff via smartphone but not computer.
I got to Skype my best friend, Whit, back in the states and got to see Hanna's beautiful face. As if that wasn't a blessing enough, God cracked a funny.
We were in mid convo about how the Lumineers have apparently exploded in the states and how awesome their show was at a music fest last year, when one of their songs comes on the radio.  Just so you know, the fried chicken place we sit in only has one play list.  It consists of Gangum style. Then Gangum style in another translation, and then oh yeah Gangum style, for about 15 translations of it.  To hear the Lumineers was a huge hug from God literally. What a stinkin' blessing. (esp since we were talking about them at that second)

Okay, I know these may sound small to some of you, but I am realizing how so much in each day of my life is a blessing and how often I forget to thank God. Thank God for the little blessing of each day, that in the add up to huge blessings.

Oh, how traveling the world changes our perspectives on so much.
