So the last month and a half have been crazy for me. I like to put out a new post close to the end of each month and I missed last month because my life has taken another of God’s amazing turns. At the end of last month I saw a post that one of my friends posted on Facebook. Honestly I shouldn’t have seen this post. It was posted a week or two before and no one responded to it or anything and it was just there on my feed. This post basically said that the school I use to volunteer teach at for 2 years overseas in Bethlehem (it’s called Jerusalem School of Bethlehem) really needed a teacher to help them finish out their school year. Long story short one of my friends over there really needed to come home because they were sick and needed to see a doctor.
After praying about it and talking to people I both trusted and knew had a firm footing with God, I bought a plane ticket and left about two weeks later. I am currently writing this sitting in my room in Bethlehem. I am blessed to have saved enough from my work that between my tax return and that I can afford to be over here without needing to fundraise for it like I had to before; however, this has left me with a problem of fundraising for the World Race. My last idea of trying to fundraises while over here were to ask people to try and thing of 5 other people they knew that might be willing to help or that might not be able to help themselves but might know someone who did and send me their email address and I would contact them while over here. That has kind of feel short and I have a deadline coming up in about 3 weeks and it doesn’t look like I’ll make it.
I am currently praying for guidance from God on whether or not I need to change trips to a later date or do I keep trying with this one. So far I haven’t heard anything but I will tell everyone as soon as I know. I full trust in God to lead me to the best answer for what He has in store for me. I just ask that everyone please pray for me on this. I am so thankful for all of you out there who are following me and reading these giving me your support.
