If you know me, many of you know I have always had little patience. Its actually true that I have little patience in a couple of different ways. First way is once I make up my mind on something I want it done then. I don’t need to think on it any more, I don’t want to take time considering how to getting whatever it is done, I just want to jump in feet first. But as we all know, God just doesn’t work that way. I know in my heart that if this trip is God’s will then it will happen, and I believe it is His will, but I want the fundraising done and to be sure (Right now!) that I am going. I don’t mind working for fundraising, I just want to know that I will have all I need.

Another way my impatient shows up is when I am dealing with what I would consider difficult people. This would include people who are creating a problem for others just because they are unhappy for some reason, or people who just don’t think and mess up others. But again, I know God would not want me to be this way. I should not let the actions of others affect the way I react or behave. I should always do my best to behave how Jesus would no matter what anyone says or does.

This month, really this past year, has been a time that I really see God giving me an opportunity to grow and become better. It hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure, but I am seeing some improvement in me. I am also noticing other ways I can get better, which in turn will lead to improvement. My lack of patience is definitely what I would consider one of my biggest short comings, and God is using my life as a missionary to help improve me.

Thank you all for being apart of my walk with God. I know without you, I would not be able to do what I do and it takes all of us for God’s work to be done. I am proud to be able to say that because you are supporting me, we are able to share God’s love and mercy with others. So again thank you for everything.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Leandra Palmer

P.S. I would like to give a shout out to Mrs. Rosemary Brewer from Harvest House and her daughter Denise for being such a big support in my fundraising!
