So, we are already 2 weeks into Ukraine, already halfway through. Absolutely crazy! This month we are working with CCX Ukraine, a Christian organization which hosts several English clubs throughout the week with native English speakers for university students in Ukraine. In addition to attending English clubs, we are attending classes and hanging out with the students afterwards. God has so blessed our time here and from our times in the classroom, hanging out after club, and watching movies together, we have been able to plan some amazingly fun activities for us all to take part in. This past weekend we went to a local park and ended up playing Ninja, until we were too frozen to play, where we then headed to our contacts’ apartment, where we enjoyed tea and cookies and chocolates, while playing UNO and Settlers of Katan, with spontaneous worship songs played in the background by those who are musically talented. Tonight, we will be attending Swan Lake at the National Opera House and a Girls-Only Sleepover, with movies, makeup, and more.

Prayers for this week:

- The classes we attend would go well and students would be encouraged and desire to attend their university’s English Club.
- For discussion topics for the English Clubs we are hosting. This week we are thinking of discussing Easter traditions in America and getting the students to discuss Easter Traditions in Ukraine. This is a good week to bring the two traditions together as Easter was celebrated in America, this past weekend and Orthodox Easter is celebrated this Sunday, April 15.
- Pray for more activities. God has so blessed our time here and we are striving to build relationships with the students here, and in turn be poured into by the staff here, beyond our time here.
- Every summer, CCX plans a summer camp, where students can be immersed in the English language with native speakers. This is not a Christian camp, however, it is run by this Christian organization. Many of the students who will be attending this camp are not Christians. Please pray that God would move and many students would be encouraged and delve into these amazing people who work here.
