"My Child" by David Bowman
Below I have written todays' excerpt from a devotional I read by Sarah Young, entitled Jesus Calling. Each day is written as if Jesus himself were talking to you. It's an amazing way to start off my day, I seriously find myself questioning whether Sarah entered my mind and discovered my thoughts and God spoke through her. I desire to pay attention to the words of Jesus. He is talking to us. Do you have ears to hear?
I HAVE LOVED YOU with an everlasting Love. Before time began, I knew you. For years you swam around in a sea of meaningless, searching for Love, hoping for hope. All that time I was pursuing you, aching to embrace you in my compassionate arms.
When time was right, I revealed Myself to you. I lifted you out of that sea of despair and set you down on a firm foundations. Sometimes you felt naked–exposed to the revealing Light of My Presence. I wrapped and ermine robe around you: My robe of righteousness. I sang you a Love song, whose beginning and end are veiled in eternity. I infused meaning into your mind and harmony into your heart. Join Me in singing My song. Together we will draw others out of darkness into My marvelous Light.
Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.
Isaiah 61:10
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,

But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
I am loving resting in the arms of my God who loves me, He loves you, He loves to the ends of the earth. This song below was song again and again at Training Camp. It was incredible to experience and I can listen to it again and again. Read the words, hear the words, and believe them to be true. I'm reminding myself daily that these words are true and that I am a beloved daughter and I have an Abba Father that wants me to come to Him and say…."Daddy"
