WHAT
A RACE!!!
The race from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur
started of with great eagerness as four of the five teams got on the same plane…
Since we haven’t won any races up to now, we were hungry for a win and changed our strategy. We decided to take the KLI Express from the airport which gave us a better chance of getting to the Two Towers first!!
On the Express we met a family
who gave us advice on getting
from the Main Station to the Towers.
We ended up on the tube line during rush-hour…
Each of us in silence knew that this was going to be a close race and you could feel the tension in the air!!
Sanru joined our team for this race and we would like to thank her and Francois for being so supportive and great compettitors!!
We made it to the Two Towers at exactly ten minutes past five. Not knowing where the other teams were there was still some tension and an uncomfortable uncertainty on our position!
As we put down our luggage we saw Dude running across the plain infront of the main entrance and then realised Yellow just arrived!!
In those few moments of excitement we enjoyed the spirit of being Africans… and it was further enhanced when a couple from South Africa noticed our screams and came to congratulate us!!
We are greatfull that everybody arrived safely at the destination and we are looking forward to our three weeks in India which is just one day away…
The three days of rest and fellowship in Malaysia were refreshing and we had some time to enjoy the city and its people! As we prepare for India, please keep us in your prayers and hearts!
The possibilty is there that we will not be able to update our Blog very often in the next few weeks due to sensitive circumstances in India.
