CAMPS, CAMPS AND MORE CAMPS!!!
Friends, we apologize for the long silence on our blog!
As you know, we
have been camping in Bosnia for the past month, and this is the first opportunity for us to give you a fresh update…
So here goes:
Our first week at Camp Emek Berakka consisted mostly of very hard work, constructing everything necessary for the following weeks.
After this, we
had a weekend of “Prayer Camp” where over a 100 believers from all over Bosnia came to “drench” the campsite in prayer.
The first weeklong camp was the “Youth Camp” and there were about 100 young people aged between 18 and 25.
We had an amazing time of worship each day and teaching by many of the Bosnian Church leaders.
Our team was very much involved in leading ice breakers and experiential learning.
Many came to Christ on this camp and we felt privileged to be part of this process.
The second camp was for teenagers and had a very different “vibe” than the first one.
One of the highlights
was the “Iron Man”- and “Iron Woman Competition”, that was run by us South Africans.
The kids had great fun and many of them worked well in a team for the first time on the camp.
The third camp was the Children’s Camp and the little ones truly kept us BUSY!
Unfortunately both Jacques and Lana picked up a stomach bug during this camp and they had to recover for a few days.
Once again, God did amazing things in the children’s lives and we could see the change in many of them as the week progressed.
Greeting our new Bosnian friends was really not easy and we were sad to say goodbye.
We were blessed in SO MANY ways and will always have
fond memories of them.
After the camps, we joined the other World Race Teams for debrief on an island on the Croatian Coast and we REALLY needed the time of “rest”!
The program was packed with meetings and team building times, and it was good for us to reflect over the past month’s ministry.
We have spent the past two/three days traveling and are now in Patra, Greece.
We will leave tomorrow morning for Corinth and spend a few days following in the footsteps of Paul the Apostle.
All of us are excited about this and have a big expectancy to learn new and wonderful things about the Early Church!

There is also some new news concerning out team members!
Kim Lynch from the Blue Team has now officially become a Lime Team member and we are really glad to have her on board!
She is a GREAT friend and we look forward to the next few months together in ministry!
WELCOME, KIMMY!

After our time in Greece we will be RACING to Turkey and spend another week there learning about the Early Christian Church.
We will arrive in Cairo on the 12th of August and will stay in Egypt for the rest of the month.
Thank the Lord with us for His faithfulness and provision in all our needs!
Please pray for us that the next few weeks will be a time of really learning new truths about God’s Word and His Plan for us as a Church.
Lots of love to all our family and friends back home!
We love you, miss you and you are in our prayers!
Greetings in Christ,
THE LIME TEAM
(Jacques, Stefan, Lana and Kim L.)
