The lives of the four Lime Team members are as exciting as ever.

Lana, Jacques and Kim have made it to Quissa, Egypt (the mid-point of the country).

You may be wondering why we did not mention Stefan.  He is currently in the UK.  London to be exact.  He has gone for 2 weeks to work on The Global Challenge UK for next year.  He has made more contacts and is feeling more and more confident to start this new adventure in January.  Please pray with him for everyone involved in this proejct and that God will let all the logistics fall into HIs Perfect Will.

Lana and Jacques traveled together with the Yello team, Anna-Marie and Cathy toIsrael and spent two days in the city of Jerusalem.  They spent some time on the Mount of Olives, at the Garden Tomb and many other sites believed to be the actual places where Jesus minstered.  Jacques and Anthony also had a great adventure when they ventured in Hezekiah’s tunnel withouth any flashlights!  The two of them were babbling for two days about their experience – boys
will be blys!  The South Africans travelled over land to Cairo from Israel and were very blessed to be able to have a quick swim and snorkel in the Red Sea!  What a beautiful sight!  Everyone thought back of Moses and the Isralielites and their journey of faith through those waters.  It was a great privilege to have spent so much time walking the footsteps of the early Church!

Since our time in Turkey, Kim has travelled with the Blue Team and her buddies, Jessica S. and Sarah R. through Turkey to Cyprus and finally to Cairo.  It was an adventure and included meeting many new faces and sleeping in some very random places.  Now that we are finally settled, Kim is heading off to a summer sports camp outside of Cairo along with a couple other World Racers.  She will be ministering with the rest of the group in Quissa until Wednesday and then will leave for the camps.  Stefan will also be joining her at the camps around the 24th of August.

The rest of the big group will be involved in ministry with the local Church in Quissa – teaching English classes, working at an orphanage, leading Sunday School, etc.  All the World Racers will be rejoined in Cairo again on August 28th to see the pyramids, experience the city and have a time of debrief.  Then the Lime Team will be reunited once again!

Many thanks to all our family and supporters for your constant prayers.  Please know that although we may sometimes seem “quiet” on our blog, we are always in need of your prayers and faith for this ministry.  At the moment we only have one hour of internet access every couple of days, so we apologize for the silence!  Please pray for fruit on the work we do and that God will give us strength to endure and “run the race” till the end – and finish well!  We love you all and look forward to hearing from you!

WE’RE IN AFRICA AT LAST!!!

‘Nkosi sikelele Africa!  (God bless Africa!)

Greetings!
THE LIME TEAM
