Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to tell you about some major changes that have been going on in my life, and to ask for your support as I embark on an incredible journey that I feel I have been called to.
Over the past few months God has really been speaking to me about poverty around the world. First, through Max Fetisov, the founder of True Hope Ukraine, a ministry that reaches out to the orphans of Ukraine, and his incredible testimony of the poverty he endured growing up and his passion to make a difference in the lives of the children in his country. Second, through Amanda Cormier, one of my youth that I volunteer with at The Freedom Center, and her testimony of her mission trip to Africa and the sheer desperation and poverty of the people and their need for hope and the love of God.
Through a process of prayer and asking God what His will for my life is, a link to The World Race ended up being posted to my facebook page. The World Race is a mission trip run by a reputable Christian organization called Adventures in Missions, it is a journey that takes place in 11 different countries worldwide and over the time span of 11 months. Through living in a raw and real atmosphere; full of adventure and personal growth and development, loving people all over the world, and learning to live and grow in community with others called to the same mission, God will break our hearts for the things that break His. We are called to action, to serve and love the “least among us”. AIM has partnered with different churches and ministries around the world, our team will be helping to achieve whatever goals these ministries have, whether it is building, evangelism, working in orphanages, or ministering encouraging and bringing hope to those who have none. We will be sharing the love of God with all nations.
This mission is the opportunity of a lifetime! I feel I am being called to be more than just the 9-5 person that I have become, and actually allow God to work in and through me to make a difference and change the world for some people. I know in my heart that God is calling me to this, and I have total faith that He will provide for me every penny that I need. In order to participate in the World Race I am personally responsible for fundraising $15, 500, a cost which covers all of my expenses while on the field. I am asking for anyone that believes that I can make a difference to consider investing in me, through prayers and financially. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donations, wherein you choose the amount, and beginning and end date. If 25 people pledge $50 a month for 12 months, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip. I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, inviting you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and return the response card with your donation to Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470. Please make out the cheque to USD on the amount line for easier processing. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a receipt for your donation. If you would prefer to make your donation online, you may do so by visiting my blog site at: kyliegrabauskas.theworldrace.org. Just click the “Support Me” link in the upper left side of the page and complete your donation as instructed.
There is an option where you can subscribe to my blog and receive updates whenever I enter a new post. This is an opportunity for you to see what God is doing in my life as I enter into this new season, and keep you updated on all of the adventures that He is taking me on. I am bubbling over with excitement for the coming year and all of the changes that will be happening in my life. For more information concerning the race please do not hesitate to ask, I would be thrilled to share more with you. I want to thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support. I pray that God blesses you as you consider investing with me in this ministry.
Many Blessings,
Kylie Grace Grabauskas
