Hello, I am Kory Parker!
So, I might come across as a shy and quiet person. I want to invite you to enjoy this time 🙂 I only say that because once we get to know each other more, you will miss how quiet and mellow you originally thought I was! HardKor is putting it lightly. Thing is, I have a lot of energy.
It’s a good thing God found such a brilliant use of said energy!!
I am a 22-year-old, strapping young lad from the small hick town of Orofino, Idaho… and no, I’m not and never have been a potato farmer. It’s a small town of about 3,000, if I remember right. To put it more into perspective, I had about 40 people in my graduating class. My family is very important to me! I come from a family of 6, including myself. I have an older brother (Kenton), a younger brother (Konor), and an 8-year-old miracle of a little sister (Emma Grace). She is a miracle because my mom (Keri) had her tubes tied, but God had other plans and gifted her with a baby girl anyway. I love my mom and my Dad (Greg) very much.
I graduated high school in 2010 and bounced all over for a while. I moved in with my grandma in 2013 and am still here. Somewhere between those two times I went to school for my certification as a nurses aid and have been an aid for over 2 years.
Thanks to my family, I am a country boy. There is almost nothing more I would rather be doing than fishing, camping, hunting, and etc.—pretty much anything I can get dirty doing.
Here are a few other things to know about me to speed up this getting-to-know-me process!
- God is my number-one priority
- I prefer to talk about Him mostly
- I am accident-prone
- I am loud
- I may or may not be crazy (maybe)
- Beetles scare me to death
- I wish I had a Grizzly Adams beard

- I’m a geek for “Star Wars” and “Lord of the Rings”
- I can do almost anything badly
- I like to be in the water
- I love to sing praise to the Lord
- I was a cheerleader and a football player
- I try to catch every animal I see, including snakes (so I can scare some women)
- I think I might be a show-off
- My favorite verse is Romans 5:8
Now that you know me, I would like to welcome you to be a part of my journey. Please pray for me as I embark on the faith-building experience of a lifetime!!!
