Dear Family & Friends,
January 2015 I will begin an incredible adventure of mission work as I travel to 11 Countries in 11 months, I’d love for you to be a part of this with me.
Why do I want to do this? I am at the perfect place in my life to fully dedicate this coming year to the Lord. I’m ready to leave behind the distractions of this world and experience this world through God’s eyes. I want to go to work for the Lord. I want to share the Gospel, feed the hungry, laugh with the children at orphanages, uplift the woman and children that were trapped in human-trafficking, show the love of God to so many and restore the hope of Jesus Christ. This experience won’t be easy, I will face many challenges, but I know that through this I will grow spiritual and personally. This will be a journey of falling even deeper in love with Christ.
What is the World Race? The world race is 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these” while amongst real and raw community. It facilitates discipleship through the process of discovering into the abundant life He promised. The countries that I will be going to are Dominican Republic, Haiti, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Swaziland, Botswana, and South Africa.
One of the first challenges I will face is raising financial support. Like many different mission organizations, world race participants are required to raise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in January I need to raise $15,500. This money will cover my mission expenses for the entire 11 months. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, I ask would you prayerfully consider joining me at $100 a month, a onetime donation or another amount?
Here are my deadlines.
- $150 Deposit – Due 9/9/2014
- $3,500 – Due 9/27/2014
- $7,500 – Due 12/18/2014
- $11,000 – Due 4/1/2015
- $15,500.00 + $742.60 (*Insurance) = $16,242.60 – Total Due 7/1/2015 (End of 6 months on the field)
