Hello. The past week, for me, was spent lying on a mattress on the floor sicker than I have ever been!!! It was heartbreaking for me not being able to assist the others. There is SO MUCH work to be done and all I could do was lay around. BUT, I am better now and am sooooo happy!! I went to San Jorge (my favorite town in Guatemala) today and played with a bazillion kids. I think they are attracted to the curly hair. As soon as I got out of the van, kids just came running from everywhere. We played games, shared Candy, and tried to talk to eachother (that is not working very well…my Spanish knowledge is gone after my week at home). Despite the communication barrier we had a blast. It was the perfect day back to work!! I am looking forward to tomorrow. I truly wish you all could be here and see the beautiful people of Guatemala. Please continue to pray for the families here. Everyday we are seeing more and more of the destruction that took place. Thanks. ADIOS!!!
