I know…I know…that means ¨good night¨but Sisson used my title…so I am saying ¨good night¨to Guatemala.
So…here we are. We have been in Guatemala for a month now and it is time to say good bye.
Yesterday morning we left Antigua. I have to say, it was definitely harder than I expected. We all said our good byes and loaded in the shuttle. I looked at Friske and she was crying…immediately she made me cry and then Jessica started. This was not something that I expected. It shows you that you can definitely let a place and people sneak into your heart and not even realize how much they have effected you. It was sad, but we know that it´s time for our next step.
Tomorrow morning bright and early at 6am our ¨race¨ to LA will start. We have been here in Panajachel for the past 2 days for a short time of debrief with the other 4 teams.
It´s been nice to be able to join up with the other teams and bring to the table and share what the Lord has been doing all over Guatemala.
We got to build an altar at a Pastor´s house that the yellow and blue team worked with. They built this house for him and we were able to go and build an altar there that is going to stay there for years and years. Each year other World Racers will come and visit that ¨site¨and also build an altar there. It was pretty neat to be a part of the team that started it all.
With this being the first year for this race, we are still working the ¨kinks¨out and making new rules, so while we have been here there have been some pretty intense, heated meetings that have taken place. The Lord has been faithful through those and brought us through, so it is going to be refreshing to get to LA and start ¨new¨again.
Please keep us in your prayers over the next few days. I can not tell you how we are going to get to LA…the other teams might be reading this, but can tell you we should be there at some time on March 1.
Thank you all for your prayers and support and will ¨see¨you in LA.
We are going to miss Ellu!!!! …AND Abner!!!!! …AND Alex!!!!

….AND Clay!!!!

AND eveyone else I do not have pictures of. We love you all so much and thank you so much for the prayers and encouragment that you gave us while we were there. You will always be in our hearts and we WILL see you all again soon.
We love you.
