This morning I was getting out of the shower when I heard the most beautiful sound ever…well…maybe not ever, but it was a nice, much needed surprise. I ran out of the bathroom, into the kitchen where what did I hear?… none other than Jason Upton. I could not believe it. (For those of you, who don’t know, he is a worship/intercessor leader and I absolutely love him.) Over the past few days, since we have been under such great attack, I have wished I had some of his music with me and what do you know…it was right in front of me and I didn’t even know it.

The Lord is so good. He knows how much I needed that and what song was playing?… Lion of Judah, it was awesome.

After I freaked out a little about this Jessica and I decided that we would take some candy that we had and go and get some bread and go minister in the park and on the streets.

We walk out of the bread store and see a very sick, poor elderly lady on the sidewalk. I get some bread out and a track and I’m about to go and talk to her when Jessica says, “Wait…my camera is gone.” She looked all through her purse, knowing it was in there and it was gone. Somewhere between the coffee house and the bread shop someone had taken her camera…out of her purse.

Our first reaction was…what the heck. We have been hit so hard, so many times…why again? We go back to the coffee house just to make sure she hadn’t set it down somewhere and forgot all about the lady I was about to minister to.

The camera was not at the coffee house, so I asked Jess if she just wanted to stay around for a while or go back out. We both decided that it would be best to go back out because the enemy had already stopped us from ministering to one lady; we were not going to let him stop us from ministering from the others.

We went to the park and were able to talk to some kids and pass out a couple of tracks there. On the out-skirts of the park there was an older lady that I felt lead to go talk to, so we went over and started talking to her…well, as best as we could. She thanked us over and over for the bread and track. She went on to try and explain something to us about her back (not real sure what she was saying) so Jess and I both felt led to pray for her and as we were praying she began to weep and started pointing from her heart to the sky. Like I said, I’m not sure what all she was saying, but I think we were all on the same page. Her name is Maria; please keep her in your prayers.

We left the park to walk the streets where we ran into some more kids and a family that we met yesterday. This family is 2 boys and a very young mother. They are very poor; they sit on different sidewalks each day and beg for food and/or money. You can see in the mother’s eyes that she is very sick. She didn’t understand much of what we said, but I pray that maybe the tracks that we gave her plant a seed.

As we were walking away from this family, we were about to head back to the coffee house when I saw the lady that I was going to minister to before we knew Jess camera was stolen. I was not going to let the enemy stop me this time.

I walked up to the lady and gave her a track and bread and said the little Spanish I know. She was not very responsive to me; in fact she just kept looking into my eyes. As I looked back into hers, I could definitely see that she was demon possessed. I know this is why the enemy stopped me the first time and tried to the second. He has a hold of her and does not want to let her go. As I walked away, I rebuke the enemy and told him to leave her. I have a strong feeling this lady will die soon and that the enemy is wanting her soul so bad and am fighting for it…but in the end we pray that the Lord will win!!!

We are still fighting the battle ourselves and we will not give up. As many times as the enemy tries to stop us and stand in the way, we are not going to let him.

When we came back to the coffee house the Lord gave me several verses that are very encouraging…

“The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the LORD, the righteous Judge will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:7-8

Then I check my email and my aunt had sent me a very encouraging comment with some verses: (Thank you Wanda so much…I love you, this meant so much to me.)

“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.”
Revelation 4:9

“It is God’s vision that no one should perish, but that everyone should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9

What we are here doing, sometimes you sit back and ask yourself…what…why and then you remember and think about God and His people and how much He loves them. The commandments that He has given us and the rewards in the end… and then you remember and realize it is all worth it.

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed; perplexed, but not abandoned; stuck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Cor. 4:7-9

“Blessed is the man who perseveres ubder trial , because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”
James 1:12

One of my roles on our team is the team Intercessor. It is on my heart to spend some in-depth time in prayer and praise for my team and myself, please keep me in your prayers and let me know if you feel the LORD telling you anything for me.

I love you all and miss you.

Once again… We are fighting…we are NOT giving up and will NOT give up. The devil can go to hell. We are going to keep on and praise the LORD for the mighty work that He is doing and is going to continue to do.

*since my camera AND jessica’s camera are both now gone, we will not have pictures for a while…sorry*

Lion of Judah

No one knows the hour.
No one knows the day.
Jesus is coming soon.
All creation trembles, longing for the day.
Jesus is coming soon

There will be judgment.
There will be mercy
On that terrible day
Leaders will bow down.
Kingdoms will fall down.
Have you felt your world begin to shake?

Hear the sound of the Lion of Judah
See the fire and the fear in the enemy’s camp
From the sound of the lion of Judah roaring again
There’s a new generation arising
A nameless, faceless, placeless tribe
All they fear is the fear of the Lord
All they hear is the Lion of Judah

All I saw were bones breaking in the darkness
Then I walked into the light
There I saw an army coming from the river
With five stones ready to fight
