This week I decided to switch routes. I was originally on the Fusion route which went from Nicaragua to The Philippines. This squad was made up of members from all across the globe, which is the main reason I chose that route to begin with. I loved that aspect of it. When it came time to pray over the countries and think about me in each of the countries, something just didn’t feel right. I looked on the site again and searched the other routes and came across route 4 which goes from Puerto Rico to Nepal. I will list the full list of countries below. 6 of them are spanish speaking countries and my past mission experience has been in spanish speaking countries so this is something familiar but still unknown. I still get to go to Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia, which were three of my most anticipated countries on the other route. I also get to go to Nepal and India, two countries I wished I could have gone to and now get to go to.

I now have to go to training camp in October for a week and a half, and I am going to use that time to really prepare for the race. I was nervous about not having a training camp on the other route. I will also spend a few days on the way back from camp in Georgia to stop and see my Oklahoma family. I am excited about this new journey and look forward to learning more about these countries and cultures.

Everything else stays the same, I still leave in January, I still have the same fundraising amount and goals, and I still would love your prayers.
