Hey, all!
Sorry it’s been so long since my last post! But I have 2 new ones coming up on Monday-Wednesday next week all about training camp, my squad, team, and fundraising!
Things have been crazy here in Indy since I got back from Training Camp. But thank the Lord for amazing people on my L-Squad and new Team Teleo, as well as my life-giving family & friends here in Indy. I have never felt more ready, prepared, and excited to tackle this next month before launch (September 6, guys!! IT’S COMING!!!).
The fearless, the warriors, the party people, the dancing goofballs, the Jesus loving, the on-fire, the blue, the SQUAD WARS CHAMPIONS– L-SQUAD! My family for this year & beyond. freakin’ obsessed.
THANK YOU, to my new sponsors– the Lord is truly incredible and your hearts being so willing to support me in this season–??? The only word I can use is FLABBERGASTED. Your generosity is beautiful, and it truly makes me speechless each time I see a new sponsor pop up. And that’s hard to do. I always have something to say! But all I can say right now is — THANK YOU. And I am lucky to have you on my team.
These past few weeks have been hectic with work, packing, catching up with my church family, and trying to get my affairs in order (medicine, dentist, etc.) ASAP. I’m off to Chicago for the weekend to say some final good-byes to very close friends & fellow IWU grads. It’s going to be a really bittersweet weekend, but I am learning to get used to saying good-byes, ‘seeyou laters,’ and trying to end this season well — to enter the next season as best as I can. Wish me luck up in the Windy City! I’m also using this trip as a “practice pack,” taking my big red backpack and small blue day pack, and trying to figure out a “system.” It’s a process…. (I’m not usually the most organized person in the world 😉
some of the beautiful people I’ll have to say “Adios” to for a year this weekend… adventurous, strong, loyal, loving women! And friends since freshmen year at Illinois Wesleyan 🙂 So excited to reunite!! And struggling to say good-bye.
