Today's post by Josh Mackey
Over the next few weeks my team and I will be doing a series of 11 blogs on Unsung Heroes, as that is our ministry this month. Before we dive in, here is what an Unsung Hero is, as well as what we are doing for the month.
Unsung Heroes is an initiative started by Adventures in Mission to find Christians in different countries doing Kingdom Expanding work, but have very limited resources or man power and hopefully form a partnership with them to send World Race teams to them in the future. These people can be running orphanages, halfway houses, community empowerment, or anything that expands the Kingdom.
Our task is to network with local churches, missionaries, and organizations that can help us find these people and connect with them. Once we locate them, we will visit their facilities and get to know them to see if they will be a good World Race fit. Even if they are not their information will go to AIM and they will direct that information to a different mission program with AIM or a different organization altogether. The point is to get them exposed.
Now, here is how you can help us with this project. If you know anyone here in Cambodia, know someone who knows someone, someone who may know someone, or really just have no clue if anyone you know does, please share this blog. If just one person shares this on facebook that’s possibly hundreds of people that may see it (depending on how popular you are).
So, all we ask is that you please spread the word! Thank you!
