Our month in Thailand is flying by. This month is MANistry month, where all of the guys are teamed together. We are currently staying just outside the city of Chiangmai, working to clear/clean up a fish pond. It's shaping up real nice.
The other day while clearing, I was swarmed and stung multiple times by a nest of wasps. It definitely made things more exciting! We have a few more days here before we head back into the city for street ministry, or whatever Miss Emmi comes up with. 🙂
We have also had some good hang out time together. The property is large and there is a nearby lake, so some of us have been taking advantage of that. Last night, we took a taxi into town to catch the premiere of the new Superman film, "Man of Steel." On the way home, Wes and myself climbed up on the roof of our vehicle (while flying through town) and rode all the way back. It reminded me of those movies where the guys are jumping from car to car of a moving train. It was a great night full of memories!
Thanks to your prayers and donations, I am nearly fully funded for the rest of the year. I am currently $871.68 away from reaching the final goal of $15,500. In order to stay on the race and not be sent home, I must reach the goal before July 1st. I have no doubt that if God wants me here, then He will provide.
