Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It was a beautiful day today.. While we all wished we could teleport back home for the holidays we decided to try and make it as much like home as possible (since they don’t celebrate Thanks Giving here)! We talked to the orphanage and organized a Thanksgiving lunch party for them. They invited all the workers and their families, the orphans (of course), and then some guests.
In total we made lunch for 84 people! Biggest Thanksgiving get together I ever had.. It was so much fun! Two of our teammates took the initiative in getting all the recipes together, and then took a trip off the island with a few other people to buy all the ingredients. Then the 14 of us (the two teams) had a rotation in the kitchen, and it was so neat to see it all come together. 
We served the guests and explained to them that this is something we do every year and its a day that we celebrate and give thanks to God~ They loved it so much that they want to take it on as their own tradition!
