Training Camp

Wow!!!!!  It seems like it is for real now. We have been waiting for this day to come since October. It has been really nice to meet everyone and start building relationships.

Being with people that have the same mind set for loving God and serving people is really nice to have. There is a lot of going on; meeting team members, meeting staff members, getting reconnected with God, spending time in a tent. Spending time in prayer has been a thing that I have needed. Knowing that I have people here praying for me and wanting us to grow closer to each other and to God, has been really good for me. Knowing that I am not alone in this journey. God has really been talking to us about opening up to Him and being open to hear His voice.

My experience of training camp: It was one that will help change me for the rest of my life. I have done lots of things at Training Camp that I have done before and some things that I have not done or seen. Things that have challenged my theology and thing that have help me think about how things are going to be going on during the trip.

Getting to know all the people was very amazing. All the love that we got from them was one of the best things that have happened to us. One of the things that I really enjoyed was being an example to everyone of how a Christian marriage should look. I want to be an example to all the men. Being older and having some life experiences that will help out with the trip.

Our team is awesome. I am so blessed to have them all. Having a leader like Adam to lead us is going to be great. He is a man of God that I can follow and want to learn from. We both are excited to have all the team that we have. On our team we have three guys and four girls.

Please pray that Abby and I can continue to grow as a couple. We are continuing to raise support. We are currently a little over 50%.
